We make several cups of tea at home throughout the day and this kettle is does the job. It is quiet, boils 600ml in a few minutes and fits with any kitchen style. Highly recommended.

This is my second Quiet Kettle from Russell Hobbs. Had the first one for 5 years, only replacing as lid doesnt lift up anymore. Our home is tiled and can get noisy - you can hardly hear this kettle.

The fuller the kettle is the quieter it is when boiling. Must have full to be really quiet
