I payed a lot for this microphone and all iv had from it is grief constant air piercing static making impossible to talk to my friends, and muffling making every word impossible to understand. iv checked all the websites, for drivers to make the microphone to work. it may work for other people but iv try'ed everything and it just keeps getting worse.
Using this mic with my 5 years old acer laptop often caused robotic noise issues. However, I recently changed my device to the newest Macbook and the mic is now working perfectly fine and the sound is very good. Overall, I am satisfied with the product but I don't recommend this mic to devices that are old.
Becoming a podcaster: Being inexperienced with a USB microphone, and after much research on the net and YouTube, I purchased the Rode NT-USB at PB Tech in Hamilton. While in PB Tech on the day, a stranger - a sound expert - was also looking at microphones. He said to me that he would choose the Rode microphone. I followed his advice.
