Fruity-floral can be a tired category, since too many of them inundate the market at the present. Rochas presents something different. Poupèe (2004), meaning "doll" in French, is an example of tuberose and fruit marriage.

Rochas Poupee I took a number of little sample on holiday with me as I could try different scents and throw away the containers as I went along. This was one of my little sample bottles and as such I can't really talk about the actual bottle it comes in.

Poupee is a gardenia scent. I bought it last week in South America, where I was inspired by everyone wearing fun, delicious frangrances, rather than serious, challenging ones; yet Poupee ("doll" in French, sounds ridiculous to English speakers) is well thought out, layered, subtle.

Created by Perfumer Anne Flipo, Poupee is a delightful, playful, quirky fragrance that is very true to the name (which is French for "doll", not to be confused with poop by the ignorant and/or immature).
