Tomb Raider review – Lara Croft?Begins
A great cinematic action adventure, with one of gaming's great lead performances, although its Tomb Raider DNA seems fragmented and even degenerative in parts.
Pros:
- Fantastic production values with great graphics, excellent combat, and a large and interesting game world
- A genuinely sympathetic protagonist
Cons:
- The focus on combat and uncomplicated platforming and puzzles may frustrate franchise fans
- Mediocre script and facial animation

I did not buy this product
I did not buy this product. I do not know why they are asking me to review a game I did not buy or use. I have to write at least 100 characters so I am rambling now to fill the space

This is not tomb raider
Tomb Raider 2013 was an extreme disappointment, the game has absolutely nothing in common with the better classic TR games, and the character they're trying to pass off as Lara Croft in this game has absolutely no similarities whatsoever to Lara Croft, this isn't a reboot it's an entirely new game...

Tomb Raider review (X360)
Lara's had more than a few turbulent years since an ‘accidental mouse slip' brought her to prominence almost two decades ago. Championed first by Core Designs, then shipped off to Crystal Dynamics, she's undergone rewrites, retcons and ever-changing personal tragedies.

Tomb Raider Underworld: Beneath the Ashes Review
And yes, it does have its own handful of genuine Tomb Raider moments - not many, perhaps, and none of which I need to spoil here, but they add up to a chunk of game that's coherent, pretty, and skilfully assembled.

Lara Croft sexy lol
This game is very life like in movement and action. Just like a movie. I enjoy the game and recommend it to all over the age of 17.

Great reimagining of the Tomb Raider
Long term Tomb Raider fan, but had been wary of the new take on the character so had put off trying the game for a long time. I absolutely loved it - the Japanese influences on the storyline really grabbe dme and the setting, pace, and story were as good as the old ones.

Tomb Raider (Xbox 360)
Adventurer Lara Croft has encountered and defeated a variety of foes in her two decades of tomb raiding, but her biggest challenge yet is the dreaded reboot. Simultaneously hated and loved, reboots give developers a chance to take familiar characters in new directions, but at the risk of alienating...
Pros:
- Impressive graphics and game world
- A far more human Lara Croft
- Incredibly cinematic action sequences
- Quality voice acting
Cons:
- Forgettable secondary characters
- Occasionally weak dialogue
- Upgrade menu may prove confusing to some

Maverick Reviews: Tomb Raider 360
Maverick Reviews: Tomb Raider My favorite game genres are Adventure, Platforming, and Stealth, hence why my three favorite gaming franchises are Uncharted, Metal Gear Solid and Assassin's Creed. The new reboot of Tomb Raider interested me for these very reasons.

Tomb Raider Review
There is a platform here for Crystal Dynamics to take Lara's shenanigans to a new level, but a reliance on fairly bog standard shooter mechanics just doesn't do the franchise any justice and as a result, means Tomb Raider falls short of being a truly great game.
