Graphics are rather dated in places and the game play involves a great deal of running from one place to another. The combat is actually rather easy and there was only one difficult fight in the entire game (for me anyway).

The graphic combat and rich storyline are let down by tiresome dialogue and endless and confusing travel. If you are a fan of the period and want to wallow in the mythology then this game has it by the bucket (amphora?) load, however game wise its lurching pace destroys its underlying potential.

In places the graphics can be quite stunning and the combat effects take cracking skulls and slice 'n' dicing to the extreme

Combat is fast-paced and satisfying; Superb character-progression system

When I think of Jason and the Argonauts , my mind immediately goes to that Ray Harryhausen classic of the 60's. His brilliant imagination and ability with special effects truly brought the movie to life and left it as a classic of the genre.

For Jason, the classic hero of Greek myth and the central figure in Rise of the Argonauts , "choice" is a core action. In order to search for the Golden Fleece, which may bring his wife back to life, Jason must make a raft of choices. Who will guide his kingdom in his absence?

Rise of the Argonauts is a great game. Really the only negative thing about it is that you stop to talk Alot. But this game has a fantastic storyline. This is a great game for everybody who likes mythology, or just wants a good game.
