Ride review

All of which feeds into Ride's bigger problem. There's not quite enough here to satisfy bike lovers, and certainly nothing to make bike lovers of the merely curious. Ride isn't a failure, but nor is a particularly great game, and like Milestone's previous efforts it's a noble attempt that just falls...

Basically a bike forza

I have went through basically every feature in the trial for this game and it is incredible. It has settings to either make a great sim (Realistic mode), and settings to just have fun and race for entertainment. The customization was one of my personal favorite features and it is very in depth.

I (kinda) wanna take you for a ride

Slightly above average or simply inoffensive. Fans of the genre should enjoy this game, but a fair few will be left unfulfilled.

I like bikes, so I'll give it a 4.

Good game for motorcycle junkies. I can;t see people who don;t like motorcycles to get into this game. This should be a 2.5-3 stars, but I'll give it a 4 because I like bikes!

Ride

Pleasant to play and easy to pick up. However, the last-gen feeling and lack of atmosphere mean Ride is only a mid-pack racer.

Beautiful simulation of a motorbike's movement; Challenging courses that reward skill; Easy to get into; especially for a sim

Graphically outdated and unconvincing; Never as exciting as racing motorbikes should be; AI's too conservative on most corners

Reus (Xbox One) Review

Reus has a dash of monsters, a pinch of management and a whole helping of fun. Together these elements all work together to bring a polished and enjoyable product to the Xbox One.

Reus Review

Reus ex.

Deeper than it looks; Charming aesthetic

Slow-paced; No direct control over events

Ride 2 (Xbox One) Review

Ride 2 's narrative structure opts to immerse with professionally made cut-scene work and voice-over quality, rather than a gripping yarn to drive progression interest. Realism is the name of the game here.

Ride 2

I appreciate Square Enix giving Family Friendly Gaming a digital downloadable version of Ride 2 on the Playstation 4 (also a ton of bonus content). This game clocks in at a hefty thirty-three gigs. It took quite a few hours to download this game.
