demo shows promise
I just played the demo and it's creepy to say the Least. Although I don't think we care for the first person view, this game has you looking over your shoulder at all times. It is kind of interesting though.

Few gaming series are able to keep themselves relevant for over 20 years, but Capcom has done just that with Resident Evil. This is largely due to the series evolving over time, and the ability to switch things up once the formula has gone stale.
Pros:

- Poor puzzles and dated item management return

If you've been waiting for a game that features invincible hillbillies, oddly-placed keys, and a very dirty house, Capcom have got you covered with Resident Evil 7. The seventh game sees things shuffled around so much, it's not really recognisable as a Resident Evil game.

Much needed revival of the series
I was a skeptic upon hearing about this title after how wrong Resident Evil 5 and 6 had been. The horror series had needed something fresh and new. This was desperately needed. The game is great and plays very well.
