Resident Evil: Revelations Review (PC)

After the lackluster Resident Evil 6, which didn't really have a balance between action and survival, Resident Evil: Revelations promises a bit more horror. With better graphics, an improved Raid mode, and other such additions, the game is looking really good.

+Good survival horror experience; +Episodic plot keeps things fresh; +Reminiscent of classic Resident Evil games

-Low-quality graphics and textures; -Quite a few bugs; -Confusing environments

Capcom brings portable Evil to the big screen. Does it hold up on the HD systems? Our full review.

+ Classic Resident Evil experience; + Raid mode is a blast; + Blistering frame rate

Weird handheld quirks; Not a ton of new stuff; Controls can be awkward

Resident Evil Revelations Review (PC)

Capcom's latest Resident Evil title, Resident Evil Revelations, takes a step back and fills in the story between Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil 5 while offering up a more traditional approach to survival-horror gameplay that the series has lost with more recent entries.

Resident Evil Revelations

Resident Evil Revelations shocked the world when it was released last year for the Nintendo 3DS for all the right reasons. The game set the standard for what a high quality title could look like on the Nintendo 3DS with incredibly detailed graphics and superb lighting that created some of the most...

Resident Evil: Revelations

Resident Evil Revelations was first released last year for the 3DS. For a handheld RE, it was quite impressive from a graphical standpoint and the game gave us back the more horrific atmosphere that was present in older RE titles.

Resident Evil: Revelations

Revelations also boasts a co-op mode, though I didn't have nearly as much fun with it as I did the main story. In what I consider a good choice, Capcom kept co-op out of the main story.

Worth the $$$

I bought this game, with some reservation. After having played it through, I can honestly say that this is a GREAT game! Challenging, some puzzles to solve and lots of action. Because of this game, I am looking into other Resident Evil releases! Want a good challenge and hours of gameplay..

Resident Evil: Revelations HD Review

In 2012 Capcom released Resident Evil: Revelations on Nintendo's 3DS, which is regarded as one of the best Resident Evil games since Resident Evil 4 hit the Gamecube and PlayStation 2.

excellent

I brought this when it was on offer for 10 quid on Steam, and I must say that I have not been disappointed... unlike the likes of Operation Raccoon City which in my opinion was utter tripe, this goes back to the eerie routes of its predecessors while still maintaining the timeline and story...

It has been a dark time for the Resident Evil series. The abominably disappointing Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City and Resident Evil 6 utterly lacked the nail-biting action the series was once known for, making it impossible to see in them any glimmer of the franchise's former greatness.

Both your weapons and your enemies feel powerful; The Queen Zenobia is an intriguing location; Episodic structure keeps the pace brisk

Not scary; Most enemies are uninteresting; Too much backtracking
