Capcom has released the new episodic series Resident Evil: Revelations 2 box set that allows players to finally join a friend in an amazing co-op adventure to play all four episodes.
Resident Evil Revelations 2 is a pretty good entry in the series from Capcom. While the actual horror elements, barring some jump scares, aren't that common, you'll still feel a bit spooked out in various moments of the story.
Some pretty great moments scattered throughout the story; Really addictive Raid mode; Shooting feels good
Ending disappoints; A few confusing environments; Dumb teammate AI; Poor enemy variety
Resident Evil games can be polarizing for gamers, depending on whether they enjoy survival horror or not. Oddly though, they can also be polarizing for fans of the franchise, given the frequency with which controls, and the overall presentation of the series' titles, has changed over the years.
-Great team dynamic; -Fleshed out characters; -Two stories separated by six months a great idea; -Inventive combat scenarios
-Collision detection; -Missing the Resident Evil "Wow Moments
Resident Evil Revelations 2 might not move the series forward, but, at the same time, it isn't at all the cheap cash-in it easily could have been. If you're a survival horror fan in need of a Resident Evil fix, Revelations 2 will definitely be fulfilling. 3.5 /5
Impressive effort with a few noticeable problems holding it back. Won't astound everyone, but is worth most people's time and cash.
Resident Evil: Revelations 2's two teams of complementary characters make this a fantastic cooperative experience, whether you're playing through the story or the ever-engrossing Raid Mode.
Moody setting and tone that evokes Resident Evil 4; Complimentary playstyles that encourage teamwork; Raid mode's endless; varying challenges
Lacks online multiplayer in story mode; Uneven pacing plagues certain episodes; Especially the last one where everything falls flat
Good game
If you've been missing that certain something that RE used to deliver in spades, then this is the game for you, plain and simple. I haven't played 6, but I actually liked 4 and 5 just fine (yes, I said ‘5'), but even so, there's just something about the Revelations series that scratches that...
not that bad at all
super great fantastic game!!!!!!! 5******** all the time for resident evil games
the game and everything resident evil!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
