Resident Evil Revelations 2: Episode 4 Review

Episode 4: Metamorphosis does a satisfactory job at tying up Resident Evil Revelations 2's mysteries, yet it also presents us with the clunkiest gameplay and dialogue we've seen in this series.

Claire's chapter; Satisfying - if cryptic - ending; Fun bonus episodes

Barry's chapter drags; Clunky exposition; End boss is a dull slog

Resident Evil Revelations 2

Capcom has released the new episodic series Resident Evil: Revelations 2 box set that allows players to finally join a friend in an amazing co-op adventure to play all four episodes.

Resident Evil Revelations 2 Complete Season

No matter how many times I cringed at the ugly environments, or was flustered as story details were pushed out in favor of fixing lifts, at the end of the day, I enjoyed 'Resident Evil Revelations 2' so much that I want Capcom to make a number '3' in a similar mold. That really sums it up.

Resident Evil Revelations 2 might not move the series forward, but, at the same time, it isn't at all the cheap cash-in it easily could have been. If you're a survival horror fan in need of a Resident Evil fix, Revelations 2 will definitely be fulfilling. 3.5 /5

Lots of fun and achievement farming left to do

I really enjoyed this format of Resident Evil. Fun game play in the episode format. I think it could have went on a few more episodes. But I was happy it had a pause function unlike RE6.

Death at the end of a gun....and a flashlight

Resident Evil games can be polarizing for gamers, depending on whether they enjoy survival horror or not. Oddly though, they can also be polarizing for fans of the franchise, given the frequency with which controls, and the overall presentation of the series' titles, has changed over the years.

-Great team dynamic; -Fleshed out characters; -Two stories separated by six months a great idea; -Inventive combat scenarios

-Collision detection; -Missing the Resident Evil "Wow Moments

Resident Evil Revelations 2 review

Resident Evil Revelations 2 isn't the best entry in this long-running franchise, but it's certainly not the worst. Compared to its handheld predecessor, it's a sub-par experience that wants to be both a survival horror and an action game at the same time, and never manages to strike that perfect...

+ Fleeting moment of "true" survival horror; + It's pretty cheap; + Raid Mode is fairly cool

- But Raid Mode lacks online at launch; - Story is silly as ever; - Retail costs $56 more than digital ($33.45 on Xbox Store vs $89.95 at EB Games

Video Games Junkie

Recently I had began my conversion back to console gaming. I treated myself to an Xbox One, great console btw...well I needed some new games I chose a game franchise that I was familiar with Resident Evil. This game was perfect to start my re-entry back to console gaming.

Challenging; Fun To Play; Good Audio; Graphics; Multiplayer

Rev2 is a great mix of action and horror. I think it's better than the previous Revelations that was already very good. Playing two characters at the same time felt strange at first until I realized how strategic the game could be if done correctly.
