The remastered Resident Evil 6 doesn't change all that much of the original experience, for better or worse. It is a nice deal for the price tag and comes with all DLC, which is to be expected.

Excellent gameplay, very intuitive controls, easy to play, visually stunning like watching a film but taking part in it. Definitely a step up from the last resident evil incarnation.

I love this game, It is very long....the storymode for all of the characters combines is 23 hours of gameplay! The story is great and it is VERY fun to play....I RECOMMEND buying this...It is so worth it!!
The creepy atmosphere was always a trademark of the Resident Evil video game series. With every game, the developers managed to create unique situations where the characters had to fend off blood-starved zombies and every situation would be exciting, to say the least.
The game is visually quite impressive in some instances; Capcom's still able to dazzle us with its brilliant and unique monster designs; I guess there are some eye-openers fans will be glad about
Badly structured narrative; they basically took everything we know and love about the franchise and replaced it with lousy gameplay mechanics; a confusing story and a shitload of badly implemented (mostly broken) quick-time events that are frustrating as hell
Resident Evil has had a number of ups and downs ever since its debut in 1996. Considering the amount of side-stories, spin-offs, and lackluster (in the eyes of the public at least) titles introduced over the years, it's safe to assume that a lot of gamers are skeptical of Capcom's movement farther...
I've got to admit, I'm confused. So this latest Resident Evil game wants to be a movie. But it doesn't want to be like the Resident Evil movies, which are loosely based on the games, but different. It wants to actually be a movie of the game that it is.
Cinematic; Co-op fun
Nothing new
You might have thought that Capcom would have come away from Resident Evil 5 having taken a few lessons to heart. If you'd looked at reviews, comment threads and forums the message was pretty clear. Fans wanted a less action-oriented game, less co-op, fewer thundering blockbuster cut-scenes.
One excellent campaign; Improved controls; Stronger co-op and AI
One dud campaign; Lacks polish; Frustrating battles
The last of the Resident Evil games to hit in 2012 is finally upon us, and no doubt this new entry in the main line of games is going to cause quite a stir with diehard fans of the franchise as they wonder what the hell Capcom is doing with their beloved, once-almighty horror series.
I have always looked back on the Resident Evil franchise with fond memories. I still remember playing the original Resident Evil on the Playstation, alone in the dark, jumping as the hounds leapt through the windows. It was the very first video game to truly give me the chills.
interesting storytelling; plenty of character favourites; online co-op; agent Hunt mode
clunky controls; awkward camera angles; what's up with all the door opening?
Resident evil fans have eagerly been awaiting the next installment in the famous survival-horror series and that next chapter is finally here. With its ambitious campaign setup involving four separate characters packed into one game, Resident Evil 6 has attempts to do it all.
