If you're still going into a Resident Evil game expecting a Survival Horror you need to take a step back. Resident Evil hasn't been survival horror since Code Veronica (12 years ago!).

Resident Evil 6 has its shortcomings where it comes to the camera angles and the QTEs. They both can be annoying and frustrating at times but they don't ruin the experience you have when playing the game. As I said before this game is a part of the evolution of the franchise.

Action/Horror Yeah, you might want to clean up a little bit first. Is it classic ? No. Is it as good as ? No. Is it the best co-op experience I've had in a long time? The graphics are amazing in this game, possibly some of the best I've seen. Capcom has created a pretty unique world to play around in. The gameplay is more action-oriented than the older games in the series but I prefer it this way.

It's possible that there has never been a more divisive main entry in the Resident Evil series than the most recent installment. Resident Evil 6 is an action-packed thrill ride that looks gorgeous and has a slew of modes on display for both single and multiplayer gaming.

It should be stated right away that Resident Evil 6 is not a bad game. In fact, it is arguably quite a good game. However, it is fair to say that it is not a good Resident Evil game, and that fact carries great significance with a large number of people.

Leave your expectations of what makes a Resident Evil game at the door, and you will find plenty; If you cannot cast them aside, you will probably be too angry to have fun

Characters have the feeling of simply being re-skins of one another; gameplay becomes fairly repetitive; not a single moment of genuine tension or fear

Introduction 2009's Resident Evil 5's premise was first seen as questionable - swapping the dark and murky streets of Raccoon city, the grim n' grey surroundings of 4, - in favour of the scorching terrain of africa.

First off this is an incomplete review. This review is for the first three campaigns of RE 6. Ada is not included. I really enjoy this game. The changes made to the series take away from the franchise in some aspects and add to it in others.

Resident Evil 4 was seen by many as the high point for Capcom's lumbering horror franchise; the fifth instalment dipped. Now, number six lurches along, promising a return to form.
