Resident Evil 6 is a great game. It does have a little bit more action vibe compared to the older entries in the series. It is still a great game, containing all of the characters that we all liked in the previous games (Chris Redfield, Leon S. Kennedy, etc.).

As a reviewer I often find myself giving good scores to games I dislike and giving bad scores to games that I personally love. Resident Evil 6 falls into this trap much to my chagrin as I really do enjoy my time playing it (most of it anyways) the game itself is just bad.

Some exciting co-op set pieces; fantastic graphics; hours of gameplay

Dozens of cheap deaths; aggravating quick time events; cover controls suck; customization system is horrible; inventory is far too restrictive and clumsy; aiming some guns is laughably hard; even more aggravating set pieces; hours of game to suffer through

I like how they went back to puzzles, but on the other hand the reaction-based gameplay kinda kills the fun. You die. Alot. Even on normal because you missed a button. Well you have an option to partially disable it so its manageable. Plot is ridiculous in terms of continuity but whatever.

Ever since the radical overhaul of the series with Resident Evil 4, the Resident Evil series has been moving further and further from its roots, to the point that it's largely no longer a Survival Horror game: a genre that it played a big role in creating and is instead a fully fledged action game,...

It was a fun zombie game

This was not the giraffe porngame as indicated by the cover; Upon seeing this in the game sections, I immediately got out my credit card and bought it, and when it arrived, I took off my pants, groped the UPS mailman, turned on my XBOX360 and then put in the game.

This isn't to say Resident Evil 6 is a bad game. Resident Evil 6 isn't your traditional survival-horror, but as time goes on, the series has evolved into what is presented here today.

Resident Evil 6 is one of the most multiplayer-focused entries in the series, with ample options for on- and offline co-op, so it isn't too surprising that Capcom added a few competitive modes to that equation.

+ Unlockable characters and weapons keep the action interesting; + Taking on five other players as Ustanak is great fun - if you can control him

I have always loved the Resident Evil series. Since the first game came out in the 90's and I hid it from my parents so they didn't know their underage son was playing an ultra violent game I have enjoyed every moment of zombie slaying mayhem.

To start just a brief word on the steel book edition. This comes with another disk only containing non English language voice dubs and no other added extras that I can find at all. Also given the weight of it quite how much steel is in it I wouldn't like to say.
