Resident Evil 5

It's impossible to overstate how important Resident Evil 4 was to the zombie-smashing franchise, and (surprisingly) the industry as a w...

Co-op campaign is immensely fun; Amazingly gorgeous visuals; After-game content is quite generous

You still have to stop to shoot; Lacks the mystery or suspense of RE4; A couple of really frustrating areas

Game Review: Resident Evil 5

2009 seems a longtime ago, well I suppose it is, after all its been 7 years since the initial release of Resident Evil 5 . Now years on, following hot on the heels from re-release of Resident Evil 6 , Resident Evil 5 has now been re-released for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, complete with all...

Looks better and runs smoother then last-gen counterpart; Rewarding levelling-up system; Packed with added content; The Mercenaries Reunion is incredibly addictive and fun; Lost in nightmares is a welcomed return to Survival Horror

Sheva is still annoying; If you're after a scary Resident Evil experience; look elsewhere

Resident Evil 5: Desperate Escape

Just two weeks on from the release of the excellent Lost In Nightmares DLC, Capcom has seen fit to serve up another delectable portion of episodic content for the five-million-selling Resident Evil 5. How kind.

Resident Evil 5 Review

Resident Evil 5 takes place in 2009, six years after the destruction of Umbrella and eleven years after the destruction of Raccoon City. You play as Chris Redfield, who has been sent to investigate possible smuggling of bio organic weapons in Africa.

Story Ties To Previous Games; Strong and Distinct Art Direction; Great Co-Op Design

Poor Companion AI; Inelegant Remastering Of Pre-Rendered Scenes

Resident Evil 5 PC Review

As we said earlier, the good news is that the PC version of is pretty much just the same as the console version. The bad news for both of them though is that they've arguably drifted too far from the original roots of the series. Put bluntly, just isn't very scary and doesn't feel very evil.
