Resident Evil 5 - Lost in Nightmares Review

Overall, while horribly short, Lost in Nightmares is a worthy extension to an already meaty experience, and one that long time fans will surely appreciate as you soak up the sumptuous locales and intruiging puzzles.

The scare factor; The superb mix of puzzle solving; exploration and combat; The gripping atmosphere

The short play time; The fact some narrative elements are not expanded on enough; The final boss falls rather flat

Test Resident Evil 5

Itchy, Scratchy, Tasty!

It's an experience many gamers could relate to (although not many like to admit it). Sitting in your bedroom late at night, feeling cocky, self assured, convinced you can handle it, you decide to stick on some Resident Evil. ‘After all', you keep telling yourself, ‘it's just a game!

Great Graphics; Intense Action; Loads of cool weapons

Not much too explore; Short; Lacks that RE edge/atmp

Thirteen years ago, Capcom helped revolutionize the action adventure world with Resident Evil, a game that would define an entirely new genre dubbed "survival horror." In the years that followed, the series continued to build upon the standards set by the first game, Then, in 2005, Resident Evil 4...

Beautifully detailed graphics and character animations; Having a partner enhances the fun and excitement while adding tension; Real-time menu system keeps you immersed; Plenty to do once you've beaten it; Superior keyboard/mouse controls

Frustrating hurdles to leap when joining an online game; Slow; deliberate movement and gunplay may not appeal to everyone; Can't swap weapons with a human teammate online

Resident Evil 5: Desperate Escape

A year after releasing Resident Evil 5, Capcom is back with the exciting conclusion to the story. In this Jill-centric DLC we get plenty of zombies to shoot at, a tense countdown to worry about and a brand new sidekick that barely says a word.

Resident Evil 5 PC

As a game, RE5 has its share of faults, but as a port, I have to say that this is one of the best games converted from console to PC I've ever seen.

Resident Evil 5

This evil has taken up permanent residence in our consoles.

Intense, polished gameplay; great co-op mode online and off; co-operative AI is very good; exquisite graphics, sound, and presentation; answers many unanswered questions from throughout the series; good length with lots of replay value; no more typewriters

Some people may not like the controls; the inventory system is a little clunky; playing online with random players can be annoying; this is the first Resident Evil game that's not the least bit scary; occasionally stiff animation; fairly frequent loading

Less Resident more Evil BSAA (Bioterrorism Security Assessment Alliance) founding member Chris Redfield has been sent to Africa to investigate an alleged case of bioterrorism. Sheva Alomar, also a member of the BSAA, has been assigned as Chris's right hand partner.

Action-packed; good graphics; high replayability

Not a survival horror game; ridiculous enemies; nothing new to offer
