Resident Evil 5 Review

Resident Evil 5 marks another key break with the series' initial survival horror theme and is really more of a third person action-adventure game, which often feels more like FPS.

Doesn't really feel like a Resident Evil game....

The fifth instalment in the Resident Evil franchise differs considerably from its predecessors in a number of ways. First of all, whilst the game is still played in third-person, the game no longer requres you to move through a series of static pre-rendered screens, but rather adopts the standard...

technically impressive visuals; action is fun for a while

repetitive; does the same thing as a lot of other console shooters; feels generic

Not what it use to be but well worth a try.

Resident Evil 5 is in fact the seventh game in the series where you take control of Chris Redfield, a special agent, who is sent to a fictional African state to apprehend a terrorist. However, the situation soon gets out of hand with you fighting an array of biologically altered enemies.

Not as good as the 4th episode....

I'm a big fan of the RE series and I liked this game very much. I'm also a bit "disappointed" because I think that the 4th episode (wich in fact was very very good) was a bit better than this one. It was longer, creepier and in my opinion had a better "atmosphere" and story.

Review: Resident Evil 5 Lost in Nightmares DLC

It's been almost a year since Resident Evil 5 hit consoles in North America. While the game shone graphically, the reviews from critics were mixed. Many complained the AI was weak and the controls were buggy, which took away from the experience.

Feels like you're returning to Raccoon City; New enemy; New style of gameplay introduced

No save points; Mansion is basically empty; Boss battle a rehash of fight in Resident Evil 5

Great Game

It's a great game. If you can't play it like the above review it's likely your computer does not have the capacity to play this game. Look at the system requirements and take heed, it is an intensive game on your system, good graphics card is required.

Resident Evil 5 review

More than six months after the fact, PC gamers can get their hands on Capcom’s latest instalment in the Resident Evil series. Significantly optimised graphics, improved aiming, better inventory management and new extras arguably make this the finest version of the title but if you’ve...

As you'd expect, mouse and keyboard greatly enhance your ability to put one right between their milky eyes; Visually spectacular; Still well-paced and action-packed.

Static shooting is a redundancy; Your NPC ally, Sheva, still has her quirks; Sorting out cooperative play online is not without its frustrations; Just another convoluted Umbrella scheme.

Resident Evil 5 Review

The Big Daddy of survival horror is back!; the Resident Evil series is finally seeing a next-generation release. It seems like a very long time since Resident Evil 4 hit the streets, and let's face it, 2005 was a long time ago.
