Exceptional graphics; solid single-player and co-op mode

Too many minor problems eventually pile up; not that scary either

It must be stressed that Resident Evil 5 is a very enjoyable action game. Despite its flaws, there is little here that will drive anyone crazy, and the whole proceeding, right down to the clunky control scheme, feels satisfyingly polished and solid.

We haven't tried out the PS3 version, although the Xbox 360 edition proved to be more than satisfying, both in terms of graphics and gameplay. We honestly hope Capcom decides to deliver a PC port, worthy of the game's console versions. Hm, perhaps it's high time you added mouse support, eh guys?

All in all, RE5 is an extremely fun multiplayer shoot-em-up with tons of replay value. The action is non-stop from start to finish, and the level layout keeps the action from being repetitive.

Visuals: Resident Evil 5 is a light colored game, with most of the color palette being dusty and light brown, although the later half of the game is a grayish blue. The game does allow the player to adjust the brightness of the game, although it will likely not be needed.
