An amazing product shaves alnost as good as the blade! Highly recommend!

A massive step away from using standard hair clippers, saving time whilst achieving a very close cut. Although this does not provide a razor smooth finish, it is the next best thing. I have never used a rotary shaver until now and am very impressed with the results. This shaver catches all the clippings (no mess!) and can be used wet or dry. This takes what was a 10-15 minute job down to 3 minutes making regular maintenance easy. The quality and value of this product exceeds the price.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Remington Ultimate Series Rx5 Head Shaver is a great unit. It's comfortable to hold, quick and easy to use, and also easy to clean. Even though the shaver is waterproof, best results were used on a dry scalp. As Remington claim, it only takes a couple of minutes for a nice even shave. And as the shaved hair is contained in the unit, you could shave while having breakfast, watching TV or while in the car (as long as you're not driving!) The shaver doesn't give you the same results as using a manual razor, but for an easy-to-use unit that only takes a couple of minutes a day, it does the job well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Stylish little gadget, love its cordless and has an inbuilt mini trimmer for the hard to reach areas of my head. Used clippers to shave down to No.2 (0.6mm) before using the shaver and was expecting id be finished in a few minutes although it did take a considerable amount of time to shave down fully, had to empty the catcher out a couple of times so guessing my hair was still a little long and thick for it. Felt quite good whilst shaving and it appeared to evenly shave over my bumps and into my dents in my head. Once shaved a repeated shave 3 days later was quite quick and easy.

The five cutting edges provide a no hassle way to attain and maintain a smooth shaved head without fuss - but make sure you shave every 2 days or so as thicker bristles can be an issue. The shaver adjust to the skull shape without issue. The blades are simple to clean and the hair collection pocket is a great addition as mess is kept to a minimum. The pop up trimmer could do with being larger though as I find it too small to be of any real use. The shaver is also handy for those of us with hairy backs as it tackles this chore well too and even did a great job of the wife's legs. All in all I was quite impressed with all the results

Needed a shaver to give a closer shave than a standard hair clipper. Performs exactly the way I wanted it to and the shaver is easy to use. It is a shaver and not meant to cut hair that is more than a few mils long, so the hair clipper has to used first if you have not used the shaver in more than a few days. Well constructed and ergonomic.
