A truly awful shooter

This is a truly awful shooter. It plays like a game slapped together quickly just to get product out. Graphics are bad, the gameplay is barely tolerable and the story is...well I'm not quite sure there was a story. The single word that comes to mind when describing this game is "generic".

10/10 BUY THIS GAME!

Amazing game, better than most new games in my opinion. Great storyline & graphics. Infestation mode (Survival) is hours on hours of fun.

A gret game for the price.

I got this game as part of the "2 for $15" sale and it is a really fun game! Now i know there are better FPS games out there like the Bioshock games but keep in mind this game only cost $7.50 when taking advantage of the 2 games for $15 deal and to be honest the game is easily worth $20 on it's own!

I really enjoyed playing the game so far. I have played the first one, and i did enjoy it. But the second one is not really an open world gameplay anymore. But still its a good game.

Red Faction: Armageddon

Never, ever underestimate how fun it can be to blow shit up. The Red Faction-games have always been about wanton destruction, and Red Faction: Armageddon is, in many ways, not an exception to this rule.

Review: Red Faction: Armageddon

Red Faction: Guerrilla was hugely underrated. To my mind it's one of the very best open-world games in existence. Sure, it lacked the emotional weight of GTA IV, the grand narrative of Oblivion or the flowing freedom offered by Assassin's Creed, but it had one particularly destructive trick up its...

Destruction engine is fantastic; The Magnet Gun is one of the most satisfying weapons you'll get your hands on this year; There's great fun to be had in the chaos

Move away from an open-world is a mistake; Poor level design; Dull story; Generic enemies; Hang on; I forgot; was this supposed to be scary

Red Faction: Armageddon

Red Faction: Armageddon has some solid features which make it stand out from the crowd, but it lacks some of the charm that made its predecessors so popular. The Nano Forge and Magnet Gun will keep you entertained throughout the game, and obviously being able to destroy anything in your path is an...

Destroying stuff is fun; Rebuilding it is even funner

A little linear compared to previous games; Story is a little confusing in the beginning

Red Faction: Armageddon: review

Format: 360 (version reviewed), PS3, PC Unleashed: Out Now Publisher: THQ, Syfy Games Developer: Volition, Inc. Players: 1 (offline), 2-4 (online) Site: http://www.redfaction.com/ Red Faction: Armageddon is a dumb, stupid game. Not in the way Gears of War is either.

Red Faction: Armageddon – The PS3 Attitude Review

If there's one question that developers surely consider before making a sequel, it's probably: rinse and repeat or start afresh? The number of identikit sequels around points to the former being the safest bet; however, isn't that a bit boring?
