The Razer Imperator is a 5600DPI, right handed laser mouse with 7 buttons, Teflon feet and adjustable thumb buttons.
Teflon feet; adjustable thumb buttons; ergonomics; compliments various grip styles
Only for right handed users
One problem with gaming mice is that they're usually big, heavy, and have lots of buttons. If a mouse is full-featured then is usually comes...
I tested the Imperator on my 3 year old, but still gorgeous Destructor mouse pad, whose surface color looked identical to the Imperator. The ‘ultraslick' feet at the bottom literally glided on the Destructor's surface and not once did I feel any resistance while moving the Imperator around.
Very good mouse, high quality craftmanship. I have the BlackWidow mech. keyboard and I figured I'd give the Razer mice a try. I wasn't disappointed. Mouse is a good size for my larger hands and has a higher DPI that I'm used to (which is a good thing). My CS:Go game got better with this mouse..
Great mouse; good fit in hand; higher DPI
none that I've noticed so far

For day-to-day use you might not care too much about dpi G-force handling or polling rates. But if you're a hardcore gamer any little edge you can get over your opponents is worth it. The Razer goes all out to maximise your gaming skills with a 6400dpi 4G sensor.
Dual sensor nice feel high dpi
Right-handed no extra weights pricey
The Razer Imperator may not offer as many features as some other hardcore gaming mice, but it's one of the most comfortable models we've ever used, and it offers great performance.
Wireless version would be welcome; no left- or right-leaning clicks on the scroll wheel
I bought this mouse a few years ago, back when the DPI maxed out at 5600, and I can happily say that I don't regret the buy at all.
Amazing response; very sensitive; easy to use
Minor difficulty with left mouse button
The Software There isn't really much to say about the drivers, they just work. One major thing that they're missing is an explanation of features. I'd like to be able to hover over something like the "Enable Acceleration" and be told what that actually means; Instead of having to scan through the...
