Razer Imperator review Review
The Imperator is a cracking gaming mouse at a decent price. Although it doesn't offer as many features as some rivals and lacks a wireless mode, it's well designed and responsive.
Pros:
- Very comfy
- Excellent scroll wheel
- On-the-fly dpi switching
- Adjustable keys
- Well designed
Cons:
- Wireless version would be welcome
- No left- or right-leaning clicks on the scroll wheel

I tested the Imperator on my 3 year old, but still gorgeous Destructor mouse pad, whose surface color looked identical to the Imperator. The ‘ultraslick' feet at the bottom literally glided on the Destructor's surface and not once did I feel any resistance while moving the Imperator around.

It is very intriguing to note that instead of releasing totally new products, gaming peripherals manufacturer Razer has implemented their new 4G dual sensor technology on its gaming mice and rebranded the famous Imperator and Mamba as Imperator 4G 2012 and Mamba 4G 2012.

Gaming mouse – Razer Imperator 4G review
For day-to-day use you might not care too much about dpi G-force handling or polling rates. But if you're a hardcore gamer any little edge you can get over your opponents is worth it. The Razer goes all out to maximise your gaming skills with a 6400dpi 4G sensor.
Pros:
- Dual sensor nice feel high dpi
Cons:
- Right-handed no extra weights pricey

Overall Great Gaming Mouse
I bought this mouse a few years ago, back when the DPI maxed out at 5600, and I can happily say that I don't regret the buy at all.
Pros:
- Amazing response
- very sensitive
- easy to use
Cons:
- Minor difficulty with left mouse button

Pros
Very good mouse, high quality craftmanship. I have the BlackWidow mech. keyboard and I figured I'd give the Razer mice a try. I wasn't disappointed. Mouse is a good size for my larger hands and has a higher DPI that I'm used to (which is a good thing). My CS:Go game got better with this mouse..
Pros:
- Great mouse
- good fit in hand
- higher DPI
Cons:
- none that I've noticed so far

Razer Imperator
There's something about the curve of the Imperator that makes us think of the Protoss Reaver from StarCraft. Those Protoss must know what they're doing, though, as the Imperator is quite a comfortable mouse - assuming you're a right hander.
Pros:
- Comfortable
- Good
- accurate
- smooth gaming performance
Cons:
- On-the-fly sensitivity OSD didn't work
- Macros limited to 16 events
