The Razer BlackWidow Ultimate Chroma Keyboard is a little like a variety box of chocolates. By way that in some areas it is simply brilliant and you can't get enough of it, then you get to the odd oversights likened to the horrible chewy toffee things that everyone leaves for someone else.

Earlier this year I had the chance to take a look at the Razer Blackwidow Ultimate 2014 with its new key switches. Razer hasn't exactly been sitting on their hands between then and now though. A few weeks ago I had the new Razer Blackwidow Ultimate Chroma come in.

This keyboard is a solid choice, whether or not you're looking to buy your first mechanical keyboard, or a new keyboard for gaming. This keyboard is USB powered, and features various keys that can be customized very easily using the Razer Synapse software that runs it.

Been using the keyboard since Christmas and can't be any more happy with it. Solid build Quality and ease-of-use and setting up mean I would. recommend this product. The only downside is the software is a little restrictive and some of the lighting is available but otherwise very good keyboard.

I upgraded from a 2013 Blackwidow Ultimate because I couldn't handle how freaking loud it was. Turns out I like non-clicky switches. I really love typing on this keyboard. It feels so satisfying.
