Razer's BlackWidow Ultimate is something of a novelty, if for no other reason than Razer builds it with keyswitches of its own design, where the rest of the industry uses Cherry MX switches of one form or another.
Overall an excellent keyboard but the placement of the Macro keyboard needs to be worked out. Rest of them are minor cons that you could adjust, the rest are more or less depending on your preference. Razer should provide an offline version of its Synapse.

In my opinion, typing is a personal experience and each user will have their own feel for each keyboard. Gamers will most likely want to go for the Razer keyboard due to its Game Mode and programmable macro keys.
Razer says that it's new Ultimate BlackWidow Keyboard can sustain 60,000,000 keystrokes over the course of its lifetime. Its the kind of statement you can't actually prove. Type at 375 keystrokes a minute and it'd take 2,667 hours of constant typing to break this thing - by that point, you most...
This keyboard sure is awesome. The lighting is great, the mechanical keys just work. It sure is the LOUDEST KEYBOARD EVER! If you're a fast typer, be sure to pick up a helmet, because you'll have things being thrown at you from across the room for it being so loud.
Mechanical keyboards are good for more than just typing, and Razer has proven that with the Black Widow Ultimate. This keyboard offers plenty of features and lots of customizability.
Powerful customization and a solid feature set make this keyboard attractive
This keyboard is limited to 6KRO and only comes with Cherry MX Blue switches
The Cherry MX Blue switches provide a good amount of tactile feedback
-Simple design; Five macro keys
-Expensive -Clicky
The Razer Blackwidow Ultimate 2013 gaming keyboard is absoloutly fantastic. The on the fly programable macro keys come in clutch for many different games. The overall construction of the keyboard is really well built and durable.
The BlackWidow is a splendid spiritual successor to the many other keyboards I've owned throughout the years. Out of over a dozen that I've had the pleasure of using since the young age of 8, this mechanical jewel easily holds the most respect within my heart.
