Retro but still great fun

Ordered this based primarily on price, used to play Rayman years ago and have to say this has stood the test of time. Great value at the price and a proper old school platformer.

Fantastic levels and awesome artwork

The best rayman platform game by far (imho). I'm not a platform game kind of person but the beautiful creative artwork accompanied by some well know classic songs make playing a true dream. Google the castle rock level and watch a true masterpiece of gaming programming!

Best Platformer in Years!!! Better than Mario!!!

Bought it on XBox360. Spent many hours beating it, then it re-released on XBox One, so I had to buy it again! It is THAT much fun!! There are soo many different types of levels and Daily Challenges, that this game never gets old. This is one of the few games that you will buy and never trade in.

Really great!

Bought as a gift for my boyfriend as something a bit different to the games out there now. He loved playing the original game on PS1 and loves this too!

Rayman Legends Review

A kaleidoscopic romp through a veritable rumpus room of crisply rendered cartoon madness, Rayman Legends plays out like the psychoses of a nine year old filled to brimming with cheap sweets and budget cola, or perhaps the contents of Granddad's medicine drawer.

Beautifully rendered; Conjures a nostalgia for the genre; Music levels are brilliant

Maddeningly frustrating; Enormous time sink; Tedium awaits beyond excessive failure

Rayman Legends PS4/Xbox One

One of 2013's greatest platformers is at its best on the PS4 and Xbox One. Those who have already completed a playthrough have little incentive to return, but it's a great value for anyone who hasn't.

Sheer volume of content; Impressive level variety; Fantastic visuals and music

Initially confusing interface; Murfy isn't always welcome; Chaotic co-op with three or more players

Rayman Legends Xbox One/PS4 review

The real appeal of these versions, I suppose, is you get to play them on these new consoles. The controller you're playing with will be better, there's video sharing functionality, and you don't need to plug in your old system again.

+ Maybe best 2D platformer since Super Mario Bros 3; + Definitely the best on next-gen; + Remains just as compelling and enjoyable as it was at launch

- Not worth double dipping on

Rayman Legends Review

is a delightful platformer, and one of the best I've ever played. Thanks to clever level design that toys with genre conventions, it gets incredible mileage out of four basic moves.

Constant challenge; Beautiful art; Fantastic bosses; Great co-op

No online co-op

Rayman Legends (Xbox One)

Like Mario on crack, with the occasional super mellow, eerily relaxing level, Rayman Legends stands out as my personal favorite platformer of the last 10 years. Probably my favorite ever if it weren't for the nostalgia of playing some of the older 8bit and 16bit platformers.
