Every hero needs an origin story. Every adventure needs a beginning. "Ratchet & Clank" goes back to a time when everyone's favorite Lombax was just a mechanic with a dream. The latest installment in the franchise is the first for the latest gen consoles, specifically for the PlayStation 4.

Still, it is a retelling of an old tale; The plot will be very familiar to fans; Pretty much the same guns seen from previous games

I had homing missiles, ricocheting disc blades, and even a lava-spewing flamethrower but none of these seemed appropriate for the brutish warbot approaching me. A towering hulk of guns and armor, eyes gleaming red, it was the very model of intimidation.

Highest production platformer on ps4. Voice acting, story, humour, visuals, gameplay all perfection for ps4 standards. Great all ages fun. Destructive mayhem without the brutality of realistic games. Platforming wise it's too easy. Do not play expecting challenging traversal. There is none. I wish there was difficult platforming but it isn't designed into the game. Play game on hard as enemies are only really a challenge at hardest difficulty. Buy this game it's amazing. Buy it. it's a good budget price for its 10 hour or so length

This 'Ratchet and Clank' reboot/remake/reimaging/rewhatever is a must, even for vintage fans. The quality of the story and the writing has been amped up considerably, the levels received their own upgrade and feel fresh while retaining their old-time charm.

Ratchet and Clank is one of the best reboots I've seen in a long time. It has everything that made the original amazing, yet still making it the experience seem fresh. Hats off to Insomniac for working their socks off on this great reboot and let's hope it's the first of many other entries.

While this game might only be 10–12 Hours long Story wise I have already played through the game 3–4 times wanting to Fully complete it. I enjoy it more than any other PS4 game so far as it takes me back to the original Ratchet and Clank games and how much I enjoyed playing them too

The game is great but too short for my liking! If the game had a little bit more it would have been 4–5 stars, still recommend to you all!

Very enjoyable and quirky experiance while playing through. Never was a dull moment playing this and looks beatiful playing it. Would recommend to anyone to buy this.
