It looks like Ratchet & Clank. It sounds like Ratchet & Clank. But is this game really Ratchet & Clank? To make my conclusion prematurely I would have to go with; it's not Ratchet & Clank. This title was developed by Insomniac Games but it plays like a movie tie-in.

When we first heard that Insomniac Games' latest Ratchet and Clank: All 4 One title would depart from its former single player focus and instead have co-operative play, we were admittedly concerned.

Beautiful environments; Varied weapons; Humorous interaction between characters; Innovative platforming and puzzles

Camera restricts exploration; Battles less engaging than previous entries

It's all a matter of perspective. When you compare All 4 One to previous Ratchet & Clank games, you might think the biggest change is the addition of a cooperative mode. But given that you could team up in Ratchet: Deadlocked , that isn't quite true.

A variety of enjoyable activities; Teaming up with three friends is fun; Smart puzzles require coordination; Fast-moving vehicle sequences

Shooting is usually dull; Some tedious boss fights; Fixed camera creates problems

I love the Ratchet and Clank Series ( one of the very reason I got a ps3 ). However this one was not that impressive, Not comparable to the other parts but yeah still its ratchet and clank after all, Fun gameplay with the laughable characters we know.

Though it is a fun little game, it's not as good as previous games. Especially as it was clearly made for multi-player only, but the computer AI isn't too bad and the story is still fun so it certainly doesn't fail on the jokes of fun side of things, it's just really distracting that it's clearly...

Insomniac have had a very busy 2011. Between the release of the excellent Resistance 3 and the development of their upcoming action game Overstrike, the Californian developers somehow found the time to put together Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One, a 4-player co-op platforming game.

My 8 year olds said this was the best gift of Christmas! They love it! Though it contains cartoon violence, it's playful, not gory. That made me love it. Plus, it is affordable.

Fun To Play; Kid Appropriate; Multiplayer

Having never played any of the Ratchet and Clank series, I really wasn't sure what to expect with the latest installment entitled Ratchet and Clank: All 4 One . All I really knew about the franchise was that the main protagonist has big ears, a robot buddy, and a penchant for over-the-top weaponry.
