Great fun for all ages even if it says M for mature. My son and I had a blast with the time powers and excellent shooting and decent collectible hunting which is great for beginners. Even the TV show like cutscenes were fun to watch.

I was very unsure about making this purchase due to all the hype the game was receiving. I've found when a game is too good to be true it normally is well Quantum Break is definitely an exception. The moment I started playing I was emerged into the story.
Awesome graphics; enjoyable gameplay
Only available on Xbox one; No multiplayer
Enjoyable but limited content and flawed experience. Interesting combat but broken up but a confusing story and a strange TV show tie-in you watch between chapters
Few games use live-action cutscenes as emphatically as Quantum Break. It's one of the game's defining elements. Between each of its five gameplay-based chapters, you have the opportunity to watch roughly 20-minute-long episodes, which are entirely optional but designed to offer insight into the...
Impressive visuals; Great environmental destructability; Effective performances from a great cast; Time powers enable great creativity during combat
Sloppy movement and weapon controls; The element of choice isn't as powerful as it seems; Forced; unimaginative platforming sections
Scratch away at that and you've got a watchable TV series wrapped around a focussed and competent game, but Remedy's keen sense of style manages to elevate Quantum Break to something just about worthwhile. Maybe it's because of how eccentric the whole enterprise is.
Great story and interesting gaming mechanics. Found aiming and camera views annoying at times.
A less than fruitful mix of TV show and video game, where although the individual components are competent they're never quite interesting enough to justify the peculiar set-up.
The combat may lack nuance and variety but it's fast-paced and entertaining; Generally good graphics and solid acting from all concerned
The plot and characters are far too ordinary to need all the 20-minute live action cut scenes; Villain decisions make too little difference and the gameplay is repetitive and overly easy
I'm a really big fan of Remedy's games, but I feel slightly let down by Quantum Break. Not an awful game by any stretch of the imagination, but the gameplay is really formulaic and the gunfights are uninspired.
I was reserved about QB because of all the disasters I had heard of previous TV show/Movie games, but once I got my hands on this and started playing, I really got sucked into the story.
Well, you have to give Remedy credit for the vision. A time travel adventure that hands you extraordinary powers, as well as the opportunity to steer the story down different avenues; including for the live-action TV series thrown in as part of the package.
