Quantum Break

Where does one truly begin to tell a story? When the beginning is not the start and the end merely the commencement of another chapter, how does one flow through the narrative in a way that keeps the viewer engaged and not confused?

Gorgeous visuals; simple and intuitive controls; fluid gameplay results in epic showdowns; the tv episodes are a treat to watch; interesting use of the protagonist and antagonist dynamic

Decisions don't seem to have much impact on narrative; some parts of the plot feel poorly explored; sequel baiting ahoy

Quantum Break

Quantum Break is the new benchmark for transmedia video game/television show hybrids with a stellar script, satisfying time-mystery narrative and high-octane third-person action-gunplay.

Quantum Break Review – Xbox One

Quantum Break marries videogame and live-action storytelling to great success. Each side caters to its strengths and culminates in a great, well-rounded package.

Quantum Break Review – It's Remedy's Time to Shine Once Again

A game like Quantum Break is a rarity. Retail shelves and digital stores see tens, if not hundreds of new titles every month and when one of them pushes the boundaries of what we know then people take notice.

Strong cast with a great script; Gorgeous in motion; Frantic and fun game play; Well crafted merger of gaming and television

Some minor control quirks; Sound inside ‘time stutters' is annoying

Quantum Break Review

Quantum Break was one of the first games to be announced for the Xbox One and lead the charge of Microsoft's vision for the new console to be the center of living room entertainment. Since [...]

Story; Time Based Gameplay Mechanics; Junction Points; Cross Media Experience

Gets repetitive towards the end; Choices don't affect TV Series much

Quantum Break blurs the line between gaming and TV by integrating drama and gameplay into one seamless, uniquely immersive experience.

Quantum Break Review

I honestly wanted to give Quantum Break a 10/10. I love sci-fi, I love confident and competent time travel stories and I love Remedy. It's a wonderful game, don't get me wrong, and is almost deserving of absolute praise but a couple of things glared once it was all done and dusted, when I completed...

Quantum Break: time really is power...lots of power

I have been waiting for this game for a long time. I am a big fan of Remedy's previous works, namely Alan Wake. Remedy has proven on multiple occasions that they know how to give a fun action game while also delivering a solid story. Once again, they prove this with Quantum Break.

Xbox One Review: Quantum Break

Quantum Break is one of the most innovative games to come along in years, and a fantastic exclusive for the Xbox One, but the standard shooter gameplay and lack of replay value are disappointing given the hype around the title and its lengthy development time.

wasted opportunity

With it being a graphical masterpiece this game still has its problem ranging from combat, enemy artificial intelligence movement and length of hours it takes to complete the game. After each act you watch the television show which is provided with the game.
