Nice looking game but very monotonous

Nice looking game but very monotonous. Played it for about 6 or 7 and hours and was bored with it. Not enough customization, no money, can't buy or upgrade cars. You get what you get and tweak the drivability. Not Gran Turismo or Forza that's for sure.

Project CARS

Slightly Mad Studios' Project CARS is a realistic racing simulator in the vein of Gran Turismo and Forza Motorsport . The game's cars look gorgeous, and they handle accurately enough to teach the player how to race better, and the payoff of finally nailing your first turn after botching too many to...

There are better racing games out there.

They keep it patched up, and the (Steam) community is quite active. But still some bells and whistles are missing and the main menu is really confusing. I have not tried with controller, but with keyboard the controls are a bit stiff. I think there's better out there.

Project CARS review – race?champion

A viable alternative to the old guard of driving simulators, that values freedom of choice and gritty realism over needless feature creep.

The level of detail for the cars, both visually and in terms of the handling, is excellent; Plenty of tracks and good AI; Robust online features and plenty of race customisation options

The career mode is pretty basic and the game as a whole can be off-putting for more casual players, especially those without a steering wheel; Lots of screen tearing and horrible menus

Project CARS

After 5 years of delays and testing, Project Cars, the latest racing title from the minds of those at Slighty Mad Studios and Bandai Namco, is finally here. When you make the statement "the most authentic, beautiful, intense and technically-advanced racing game on the planet," you had better come...

A New Series Gets Off To A Strong Start

Concept: A sim-based title with multiple racing series that's similar to other franchises while remaining distinct Graphics: The lighting effects stand out, and I like the blurring of focus used for closer objects Sound: Your engineer's tips for approaching cars occur inconsistently Playability:...

Project CARS review

Project CARS is everything motorsport enthusiasts have been asking for: a hardcore racing simulation, if you want it to be. With all the assists off you need a racing wheel, that's how serious it is, but with an astonishing level of customisation, considerably more than I've ever seen in a racing...

+ Amazing customisation; + Everything is unlocked; + Cars look amazing; + Ideal sim for a racing wheel; + Options upon starting career mode

- It's a little glitchy; - Menus are rubbish; - Wii U? - lol

Project Cars Review

The collaboration between Slightly Mad Studios and its community of fans have led to fantastic results. Project Cars is one the best, and most authentic racing experiences we've seen in quite some time.

Project CARS, or Community Assisted Racing Simulator as its acronym stands for, has been in development for almost four years. Originally destined for PS3 and Xbox 360, its protracted gestation has resulted in its rather welcome transition to new generation consoles (as well as its primary platform,...

Great graphics but disappointing overall. AI makes barely any mistakes, yellow flags don't exist & it's basically a procession until the end. Boring for what is supposedly a sim
