The jewel in Ubisoft's Christmas crown.
The jewel in Ubisoft's Christmas crown.
So, for those who watch and are fans of the sport, this will be a special treat. For all three of you. Interplay's previous games, were in all honesty, not bad games at all, they were just, well, to put it bluntly, ugly and slow. (I'm blunt but not mean!
10/10
Its fun from beginning to end
i can't think of any tbh
"Well, Prince of Persia: The sands of time. I can't really say it's amazing, but then again, it's not BAD as such. The games first levels involve you having to solve a series of puzzles, dodge moving spikes, and do acrobatic moves such as wall running, to get to a small chamber, in which you witness...
Fighting if fun; Moving is intuitive; Special powers are easy to use
Graphics are not really that good; sound is repetitive; game gets boring quickly
Forget the second (warrior within) and the third chapter (the two thrones), THIS one is the real Prince of Persia. The game has an incredible atmosphere (in fact it is like being in a fairy tale), a great playability (I played it with the keyboard, but you can use a joypad as well) and a fantastic...
I am the kind of gamer who absolutely requires, in this order for a great game: a good plot, good controls/gameplay, and good graphics. This game, in my opinion, falls short on at least 2 of these. The plot is sort of neat, but it really feels more "in the background" than anything else.
Really good fun game, pretty easy puzzles and good graphics even by todays standards. If you haven't played this before it's well worth the budget price. This was the Assassins Creed of its day.
Looking through some archives I realized that it has been 13 years since the original Prince of Persia revolutionized gaming and was an instant hit.
With the Prince Of Persia formula threatening to go stale after three games, Ubisoft developed a simplified approach to acrobatic adventure. A new Prince assists Elika, a woman driven to clean her supernaturally stained homeland.
The ending; which justifies slogging through many grand but eventually monotonous landscapes
You hear the phrase "fertile ground" for the thousandth goddamn time
Elika gives Kevin VanOrd a hand in this Prince of Persia video review.
Intricate level design; Beautiful art direction; Platforming is entertaining and looks great; Cinematic combat moves are cool to pull off and impressive to watch; Elika's presence leads to unique gameplay mechanics
Really; really easy; The new prince isn't a good leading man; Some combat and platforming annoyances
