The description and the box says it works out of the box on PC. Not true at all, sure Windows 11 detected it and installed a 'driver' but that's as far as it got on its own. Could not even control the pointer on Windows and would not work in any game I tried. Many hours were spent trying to get this to work in PC games, downloading 3rd party solutions and after nearly giving up, it finally worked with SCPToolkit. I had 1 nights of gameplay with Forza Horizons 5, then went to play again the next day, and the whole drama started again with it not detected in game. Gave up, chucked it in a cupboard never to see the light of day again. Save ...view more
Had issues with the gamepad consistently detecting as a PS3 Gamepad for usage with SCPToolkit. 80% of the time it would detect as a generic joystick not compatible with SCPToolkit. I eventually got it functioning without issue using a software called "xoutput" which allows you to map any input device to a "Virtual" Xbox 360 controller.
Same issues as mentioned by others. 1. On the d-pad I found key presses could lag/be omitted. 2. Under linux (ubuntu) it worked plug n play. However connecting to windows I had to download the drivers from the powerplay site for it to recognise correctly as a gamepad instead of 'generic joystick' (which made right thumbstick act like tilt of joystick). As cheapest controller you will find, it is fine for casual gaming when connect laptop to TV, for anything serious I use a Keyboard and Mouse anyways.
