The eScan A150 is somewhat niche, but it's commendably easy to use

Plustek eScan A150 Review

The Plustek eScan A150 ($599) is one more entry in the growing list of network scanners meant for a micro office, but it's also a little different from most. Unlike its competition, it's designed to let you handle the entire scan process—from changing basic scan settings to choosing the destination for each scan—from its 7-inch, front-panel touch screen. The emphasis is on making scanning easy. More importantly, it succeeds well enough in that goal to be worth considering, as long as you don't mind a somewhat sluggish speed and a lack of instructions for getting started. An obvious point of comparison for the A150 ( at Amazon) is the Brother ImageCenter ADS-2500We ( at Amazon) that I recently reviewed. The Plustek eScan A150 network scanner is hard to get started with, but easy to use, giving you complete control over each scan from its front-panel touch screen.

Duplexer (for two-sided scanning); Ethernet port; Scans directly to a network PC, a USB memory key, and assorted cloud sites; Scans through a Wi-Fi access point to mobile devices

Hard to start using; due to a lack of instructions
