A good scanner for the price. The Software is a bit difficult to navigate and the machine is noisey, but it does the job.

The scanner gets the job done! It's a very good size, and the programmable buttons are very convenient. The software is a little annoying though, and the mac driver isn't up to date.
I purchased this item a few days ago and it's an excellent value. Windows 7 users may encounter some hassle with the software that was included as it is not supported. I ended up getting a Vista version disc. My research into this company took me into a photography enthusiast website.
Excellent scanner for the money, easy to set up and use with good intuitive software. Can scan directly to e:mail / pdf / tif formats and can also scan directly to a printer. Scan quality at the highest setting (600dpi) is superb whether in mono or colour and even at the lower quality settings it...
Machine takes time to warm up. And after copying couple of documents , it heats up. And freezes so you have to wait for a while to resume scanning. The software works pretty well with my Windows 10. It's good as not expensive compared to other A3 scanners.
It's big, it's awesome, it's straight forward and easy to use. I bought for scanning my artwork, and I work on large paper, so this scanner worked amazing for it. The only problem is it doesn't work for Mac computers which is what I mainly use.
The Plustek OpticPro A320 is a strong contender in the large format scanner market and winner of our TopTenREVIEWS Silver Award. The Mustak Scan Express A3 USB 2400 Pro can scan at higher resolutions and includes the support for Macintosh computers that the Plustek OpticPro A320 lacks.
The Plustek OpticPro A320 includes technical support for the life of the product
Scan density is far better than necessary; but not best in class
A price of $600 isn't usually considered low for a scanner, but the Plustek OpticPro A320 isn't like most other scanners. Scanners are typically limited to letter- or legal-size scans, because moving up to tabloid (11-by-17-inch) or super-tabloid size (anything larger than 11-by-17) generally goes...
Super-tabloid size (12-by-17-inch) flatbed; Low cost; Fast; Seven one-touch buttons
Doesn't batch-scan-that is, scan multiple photos at once, putting each in a separate file; No scratch removal or color restore
I have been shopping online for a large format scanner for about 1 year now. I sell vinyl LP's online and having a A3 size scanner would greatly expedite the listing process. Most A3 scanners are expensive for small home business use, but I thought the B&H price was reasonable.
I had to negotiate a return based on needing a book scanner. Disappointing transaction.
May be a good scanner; but it is not as described
This is not a book scanner; ProTek has a few models designed to scan books and this is not one of them; I ordered this based on the company description and was disappointed to find that the scanner does not resemble a book scanner at all.
