Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2
When you hear the name, "Popcap," first-person shooters are one of the last things to come to mind. Jewels? Sure. Unicorns? Bjorn says, "Hi!" But shooters? Not so much… Back in 2014, Popcap teamed up with DICE to help adapt their tremendously popular Plants vs.
Pros:
- This is a shockingly proficient shooter that is drenched in personality and humor
Cons:
- The single-player campaign grows very repetitive
- very quickly
- hard to take the action seriously because of the over-the-top characters

When you're dealing with the likes of Captain Dreadbeard, Super Brainz, Kernel Corn and a time-travelling orange from the future named Citron; you have an idea what you are in for. Garden Warfare 2 is not, nor does it ever pretend to be, a traditional military-style shooter.
Pros:
- Solid online mechanics with a variety of unique characters
Cons:
- Repetitive Single-player missions | Character grinding

Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare 2
Under the cheery looks is a surprisingly gripping shooter; one that, second time round, offers a healthier spread of modes and an addictive breadcrumb trail of hero progression.
Pros:
- Visual design fizzes with wit and warmth
- Addictive drip-feed of heroes and unlocks
- New classes open up fun tactical options
- Added modes give both armies more to do
Cons:
- Lacks the satisfying precision of most shooters
- Story mode is more of a glorified tutorial

Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare 2
The mission was clear enough. Return an agent who disappeared behind enemy lines. Playing as the sunflower, we headed out to tackle the challenge. The agent was found to be a bloody walking tree that needed to be escorted home.

Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 introduces a lot more bang for your buck. If you have some younger family to play with, or friends to jump into multiplayer with, Ops will be able to entertain you for months as you keep unlocking characters and items.

Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2
The first 'PvZ: GW' preserved the zany spirit of the original 2D tower defense and infused it with capture the flag, king of the hill, and lots of other things that ship with just about every multiplayer shooter.

- Maps & modes
- Lots to do alone
- Active quests

- Weak old characters
- Underwhelming campaign
