Avoid purchasing directly from Plantronics -- see below
I never thought I'd have to pay $100 for a telephone receiver that one wears on one's head...shouldn't something like this cost $30 in the 21st century? Moreover, I was highly disappointed that the headset did not connect to a telephone!
Pros:
- This product is available from third-party vendors for substantial markdowns
Cons:
- This headset is awfully overpriced
- This headset is designed to be compatible ONLY with other Plantronics products
- so you are forced to purchase an overpriced adapter cable to use this headset
- The website is ambiguous about product specs

HW251 great product
Pros:
- Great sound quality and solid build quality
Cons:
- Expensive compared to other brands out there
- But, having a quality product versus an unknown was important to my decision to purchase

Works well electronically but mechanically weak
The headphones work well as far as hearing and speaking. Adjustability of the microphone and headset works well. The issue is the swivel socket above the earpiece is weak. There are two very small screws at this point and the plastic is very thin and it cracked in the first two months.

Plantronics/Poly HW251 Corded Headset
The hedsets were very comfortable was all as one not in parts so very easy to set up. Just unpack and plug in.

This headset has been the staple of our office for years. We do a lot of phone meetings and being able to have hands free communication while not disturbing others around us has been priceless.

Good product but beware
Good quality product, will last a good while, however beware when buying, it doesnt come with the bottom connector & will cost an additional tenner to have up & running.

PLANTRONICS SupraPlus HW251 Single-ear Headset + U10P Cable
Got one of these from a non-related seller. Was so impressed I came to pixmania to buy another 2 for our office. Today I'm back again ordering another 3. These headsets are fantastic. The clarity of sound is surprising, the person could be sitting next to you and still sound the same.
Pros:
- Beautiful clarity in sound.
Cons:
- Bit quiet for whoever you're talking to

Hw251
This is an excellent headset. Bought to replace a duff model from another maker as the mic was giving me problems (I sounded muffled to the other caller). This headset works fine and has solved the issue. Delivery was faster than expected.

Nice products
The pair at home are used every evening, and after a year, the foam pads are doing just fine. These are comfortable headphones for sedentary use and can be worn for hours at a time. Because of the relatively light pressure on the ears, these headphones don't like to stay on the head while working on...
