Overall good for the price

First of all let me start with I got these with the initial hope for using them on PC. Now, let me clarify, on the box, it says it is compatible with PC, however, what they don't tell you is it doesn't come with a microphone splitter for desktop PC's with a separate audio/microphone jack.

Broke in a week

Used this product about a week and the microphone quit, and one of the ears. Defiantly too cheaply made for the $40 they cost. Will be attempting to return them.

My overall impression is I will order online again without hesitation.

My son was more than happy with both products he received however when we went and picked up both products from the Upper Hutt branch the headset were not in the box, instead it was a Xbox 1 controller.

Disappointing

I bought these as an alternative to the next model up from this line that's primarily for PSVR. What a poor decision this was. The cups begin to hurt my ears after the first hour of playing and have to be taken off.

Plantronics RIG 400HS Review – Inexpensive or Just Cheap

You can use almost any gaming headset for the PS4, so what, if anything, makes the RIG 400HS special Well, nothing that I can find. However, if you can deal with the fact that it never goes above and beyond, it's still a worthwhile way to spend $50.

Generally comfortable; Decent single-player audio; Smart mic design

Subpar multiplayer and music performance; Limited ear cup adjustment; Flimsy feel

Plantronics RIG 400HS

The Plantronics RIG 400HS is a solid wired gaming headset considering its $50 price point. That said, Plantronics' own RIG 500 series offers better sound and a slightly more comfortable fit, and the equivalent model to the 400HS is just $20 more.

Good audio quality; Light, comfortable design

Few adjustment options for fit; Boom mic susceptible to popping unless carefully positioned

Plantronics RIG 400HS Stereo Gaming Headset for PlayStation 4

I was so excited to get home and use my new headset, but after 3 hours of game play with my friends, most of the time had been spent with me saying "can you hear me" The microphone had to point straight down to my chest to even work!

My favourite Headset.

Had this headset for over a year now. Still like new. Pro's: Good sound quality / Removable mic / Fits me well / Decently thick cord incase accidentally tugged / Surprisingly resilient to being sat on / 90° headphone jack which is always a personal plus / Very comfortable, I often sleep with it to listening to music. I don't even feel it half the time. / Compared to other larger headsets, this doesnt make my head look big. Con's: Biggest issue, the mute switch does not actually mute, it only makes my mic audio quiet (may be my headset only, not sure) / When dropped or handled poorly it quickly falls apart like my last relationship, but the headset is easily put back together. All my friends have this headset and is certainly worth the reasonable price, especially when on sale.
