Poor quality

I am very satisfied with this bluetooth, but I have to change it every 6 months, because the plastic cover of the button snaps out. I am good for the first year (warranty-replace), but after that period, I will be out of luck.

Excellent choice.

Due to the nature of my work (running a family business) I go through quite a few sets annually, I have tried no less than 5 sets of different makes, this one beats all, pairs easily, talk time is 11 hours, charges in no time, notification of when it is on/off, receiving/making a call are clearly...

Stay safe & handsfree! Explorer 500 Works Great!

Voice calls are nice and clear. It fits well in small/medium ears (tested) with no issues and it charges quite quickly. Overall, it's a very nice headset for a good price. Some Plantronics headsets have some issue, but this has been fantastic.

Fantastic, wish i bought this long ago.

I bought this as i spend so much time on the phone (at desk and driving) so i really need to be able to go through documents while also talking. The ease and sound quality of this is amazing. The rubber thing makes it fit into my ear so easily and doesnt get sore.

Worked for 1 month before the speaker died. Now I can hear people but they can't hear me. Useless.

Rather than making the costly investment, they might be more inclined to pick up something that’s more forgiving on the pockets – without making too many compromises in the specs and features departments. Plantronics Explorer 500: An affordable Bluetooth headset with premium performance

It's hard to get too excited over a mono Bluetooth headset, but Plantronics new Explorer 500, which replaces the company's midlevel Marque 2, has some compelling attributes that make it worth paying attention to.

Replacing the Marque 2, this $60 Bluetooth headset offers dual microphones with "noise-canceling DSP and GSMA-certified HD Voice," and a unique USB charging strap.

Plantronics Explorer 500 Review

Plantronics has long been my go-to Bluetooth headset brand for call quality, although its designs range from dull to aggressively corporate. The company's mid-priced Explorer 500 headset ($59.99) fits in with that heritage: It sounds good, works well, and has a lot of fit options, but few would call it pretty. It can't match our Editors' Choice, the Plantronics Voyager 5200, in terms of range or call quality, but if you're looking for a solid, no-frills headset, it definitely hits the mark. Design and Battery LifeThe Explorer 500 is a two-inch long black stub with an eargel and a micro USB charging port on the back end. Half of the outer face is ridged and becomes a Call button, and there's a physical power switch and volume buttons on the top and bottom. It's nowhere near as pretty as the Jabra Eclipse, but it's far more functional, as the tactile buttons are very easy to use. The headset comes with one gel eartip, an optional earhook, and a strap that plugs into the USB port a...

The $60 Plantronics Explorer 500 sets the benchmark for affordable, no-frills Bluetooth headsets.

Comfortable; Good sound and voice quality; Physical volume buttons

Range and call quality; while good; aren't outstanding
