Plantronics CS540 Headset & Lifter Set
Cheaper versions are available for this which unfortunately I bought before I found the Plantronics brand. Having tried several brands I can recommend this for sure.

Amazing piece of office tech
If you spend long hours on business phone, it is a must have. Priced well, Staples and other have it more expensive.

Device stopped working after a year
I bought this headset exactly one year and one month ago and the device will no longer charge. I spent a good chunk of change on this device for it to not work after a year and one month of use.

Great quality, one design flaw
I am puzzled that such a high-quality piece could be so outdated with its fine-tuning. I wanted to be able to use this while walking around my office, which I am able to do thanks to the great design of the earpiece.
Pros:
- Sound quality is great and the earpiece is comfortable
Cons:
- The weird
- outdated plastic piece for the phone cradle necessary to disconnect the call

I'll definitely continue to buy as the need comes up because it's an overall good value for the price when compared to competing products.
Pros:
- The headset is easy to setup and works great with my ShoreTel 485G office phones without the need for any additional parts
- I have purchased 4-5 of these (including one for me) and we all enjoy them.

Received open package.
The item arrived a day after the date promised by the Staples website. The item arrived "open" - the plastic bag containing some parts was torn open, the cord was crudely rewound, and the instructions were missing. Fortunately, the instructions could be found on line.

Great Headset
Great headset. Light and good sound quality. Got this with the Electronic Hook Switch for a Polycom VoIP telephone for heavy office telephone volume calls. Very happy with the products.

Good but expensive.
It works. It uses a remotely controlled actuator motor to actually lift the handset off the cradle so the headset can be used to pick up calls. The quality of the wireless . unit is good and sound clarity is good.

I liked my old model better
First of all, Plantronics is the best for quality headsets, but I'm not sure I like this new model. I purchased the CS540 to replace the CS50 that I used for almost 10 years. Works Like A Charm
Purchased this for our front desk staff - couldn't be happier. Much more freedom and ability to work with both hands. Also, Bluetooth connectivity is problem free even from long distances. Highly recommended.
