These were bought as a gift for my son, along with the extended warranty. Within the first year I had to return then for a replacement (refurbished) and the replacement set didn't work when it showed up, I then had to wait for another refurbished set (each time I waited about a month).

Update to my previous review -- I contacted Philips and even though the unit was out of warranty, they were able to help me diagnose it as a faulty DC power cord, and they offered to send me a new one at no charge. That's fantastic support (at 6:30am no less!).

After a day of travel one stopped working. Was not impressed.

Shipment was fast and the item is great

10c or lower it does not work. Freezes up all the time. Any minor marks or scratches movie will freeze. Never worked all winter until Id get the Van super hot.

Purchased this for our 12 hour car ride for my 2 year old. On the way there both screens worked perfectly, and on the way back a week later the dual screen wouldn't come on. It was only opened the one time and used the one time.
