Best APSC camera
Pentax offer the best ergonomic and working APSC cameras! I have used since 2006, with my first K10 from Pentax... K3 II is the big evolution to use old and marvelous lenses even from Pentax or Takumar, planned on K-mount engineering.

Very nice camera with weather sealing
Very nice camera, a little outdated but with a solid and robust construction (weather sealed), and to get effective sealing you need to use a WR lens like this one: http://amzn.to/2s6y0O6 This camera works with old Pentax lenses, and the focus motor embedded in the body is very fast.

A very nice kit, with the K-3 II and the 16-85 ...
A very nice kit, with the K-3 II and the 16-85 in the same package! I must admit, that I wanted the lens at a more attractive price, and did not manage to find it on its own, at my desired price, so this was a way to manage that wish!

Pentax K-3 II

- Large and bright viewfinder for an APS-C camera
- Dual card slots
Cons:
- No built-in flash strobe
- No wireless flash support out of the box
- AstroTracer function can be finicky
- AE Lock button is poorly located
- Below-average battery life for a prosumer DSLR
- Requires a different battery grip accessory than its predecessors

This camera is a welcome addition to my Pentax line up. It's GPS and Astrotracer functions are great. This camera is not for the beginner although well organized menus,and speed make it a pleasure to use.

Pentax K-3 II review
The Pentax K-3 II is in many ways a brave DSLR. It takes risks, does things differently and offers loads of quirky options. But in other ways it's also a hugely frustrating beast. As a niche camera, it has many great features.
Pros:
- Excellent build quality
- Takes great photos
- Built-in stabilisation
- Astrotracer and GPS
Cons:
- No flip-out LCD or Wi-Fi
- Average video options
- Sometimes a little slow

Pentax K7 to K3 II upgarde
What suits one person may not suit another. So ticking Pros & Cons could be misleading. Like heavy, yes it has some weight to it, its nicely balanced in the hand but its weight can becomes noticeable when its been round your neck for 3 hours but there are heavier and lighter cameras out there.

Ricoh K-3 II : Ricoh K-3 II DSLR
Without doubt this is a semi-professional unit and it takes images of very high quality. What is perhaps a little more surprising is that in my own bumbling way I enjoyed using it and I certainly enjoyed the results that it gave me.

Pentax K-3 II
When you're on a good thing, stick to it; that seems to be Ricoh Imaging's motto for the new Pentax K-3 II, which retains all the best features of the Pentax K-3 (reviewed in December 2013) but improves on the K-3's weak points and adds a couple of handy features.
