Payday 2: Crimewave Edition

The co-op heists of Payday 2 hijack new-gen, bringing with them a gym bag full of updates and DLC, but also some familiar problems. Great for newcomers, but non-essential for seasoned criminals.

Truly co-operative co-op experience; Guns and masks galore; 16 months of DLC and updates

AI is still an issue, Not the visual upgrade it needed, Drills; Drills; Bloody drills..

Payday 2: Crimewave Edition review – criminal?remake

A less than impressive remaster, that still isn't up to par with the PC version, but there's a lot of content here and the bank-robbing co-op remains a fun novelty.

Solid co-op action and the longer and more complex missions work very well; Good character upgrade system, with some excellent late-game perks; Heat fans will love it

Cheap visuals and presentation spoil the atmosphere; The variety in missions is not matched by the objectives themselves; Poor AI and mediocre gunplay; Too expensive

PAYDAY 2 Crimewave Edition Review

Back in 2013, developer Overkill Software dropped a sequel to its startup title, Payday: The Heist . While it was originally designed just for PlayStation 3 and PC, creators would later add an Xbox 360 version as the title progressed.

Skills tree upgrades; Rewarding teamwork

Impossible mission if skills aren't high enough; ...so you'll need to play a while before you're ready for tougher jobs; Heavily online-based

Although there are a lot of games that put you in the shoes of a career criminal, there are surprisingly few that see you actually pulling off Ocean's Eleven- style heists which is why I think the original Payday was received so well when it was launched a few years back.

Wide variety of mission types; Consistent framerate; visual improvements; good sound

Stupid AI; Frequent connectivity issues and crashes

Overkill are our friends! As the other guys below, I'm also a dedicated Payday 2 player on PC. Thing is, this is the perfect way to experience Payday 2 with friends that hasn't tried it on PC. At $40, it's a no brainer.

Joke

I enjoyed this game on 360, and want to enjoy it on my X1. I bought the game the day it came out and still have literally not been able to play ONE GAME online. Just an absolute joke that this was released, and no one from customer service has responded to me, yet they parade the game on Twitter...

Payday 2 Crimewave Edition

Featuring new and returning heists and missions, Payday 2 Crimewave Edition offers up intense 4 player co-op action that will satisfy any new or returning players. Though it possesses few stark differences to its last gen component, the title implements an extensive array of enticing features...

Get friends and don't play single player

Great game, but single player is absolutely pointless and boring. It's a multiplayer based game and if you don't have friends it can be a disaster. Very fun game though!

Fun

I bought this game for my sister as she saw it on the playstation store. I found it better to buy the hard copy instead of downloading it from the psn store, The good thing is when you buy here you get up to 32 points added to your Tesco clubcard when you buy.
