Panasonic HTB900 3.1ch Dolby Atmos Soundbar with Wifi & Chromecast SC-HTB900GNK review

This attractively designed and solidly built soundbar supports Dolby Atmos and DTS:X thanks to psychoacoustic processing, and while not genuinely immersive it does give the audio greater presence.

Good overall sound; Dolby Atmos and DTS:X; Plenty of bass; Nice design and solid build

No Dolby Vision/HDR10+ passthrough; No eARC support; Immersive processing limited

Panasonic HTB900 3.1ch Dolby Atmos Soundbar with Wifi & Chromecast SC-HTB900GNK review

While not quite what it appears to be in terms of audio immersion, this Technics-tuned 3.1 system is a consistently entertaining listen.

Excellent sound 5*

Well Panasonic have done it again the sound bar is amazing even on high volume. I bought this with a Panasonic TV and they both complement each other so good. Easy to set up and can be either just laid flat or fitted to the wall( wall brackets included).

A decent performance is marred by short-sighted features

Panasonic HTB900 3.1ch Dolby Atmos Soundbar with Wifi & Chromecast SC-HTB900GNK review

This big-sounding bar is a smooth operator with plenty of slam, but the Dolby Atmos labelling is something of a misnomer. Consider it a 3.1 sound system with delusions of grandeur

Deep; fulsome bass; Strikes a welcome balance between movies and music

Doesn’t offer immersive audio; No support for Dolby Vision or HDR10+
