I bought this radio because I have a problem with static when I use a traditional plug-in. The reception and clarity are outstanding. I'm very happy with my purchase and would recommend this radio to anyone.

This is a replacement pocket radio for our emergency kit. We only had to use it once so far when the power went out. It is okay. The sound is a little scratchy.
