The Panasonic PV-GS80 is a compact, affordable MiniDV camcorder that, despite its price and size, has many high-end features. With easy-to-use menus and controls, the Panasonic PV-GS80 offers instant use even to those who are largely unfamiliar with MiniDV camcorders.

I used this thing for years. It's obselete now but was great in its time. It still works, but the batteries are dull.

We purchased this camera for our Daughter and her husband for Christmas last year because we were expecting our first grandchild in January. It has continued to please them and the ease of use and picture quality is great!

I only tried one of these briefly but overall a decent camera; Great for starters

Fairly minimalist; not for the serious home video maker. It's worth it to shell out the extra cash like I did for its big brother, the GS320
