Panasonic DP-UB9000
After plenty of research, found it to be the only disc player worth investing in. It is well built, it has a quality appearance, and performs all of the functions it claims it can. Too early to say, but I hope it stands the test of time.

Seriously powerful player
Excellent 4k blu-ray player and also does a fine job upscaling normal blu-ray to 4K. Weighs a ton due to the build quality. Not cheap but you can tell the difference.
