I really like WW2 pacifc games. The best I have played was PacWar from the late 90s. I decided to give PSA a try as it was very inexpensive (and older) on steam. The game is very clunky with most commands being counter-intuitive. Still the strategic game seemed fun once I got the hang of it.

Should still be in development

I wanted to like this game so bad. I spent days on it trying to find the diamond in the rough. I just found more rough. If this game had been in development for another few months or if there was any attempt at fixing/patching the deep seeded problems, it could have been a masterpeice.

This game has some pretty cool features; Being able to control the entire war machine of the US or Japan (or the UK for some reason) is a great premise if you happen to like games in that niche; Being able to step into any level of the battle adds that much more potential fun; Or one might think

The game isnt done; It simply doesnt work; Crashes left and right, features that seem to go nowhere and an AI that doesnt seem to know what its doing; Let me summerize with an example: I picked the option to play a sandbox style game, ie the mainland and pearl harbor as the US.

A unique game that cannot be compared to any other game since

This game is really unique. I like it very much. It has everything from strategic level tactics, including reasearch and customizing historic units, to first person arcade sim features, attacking huge battleships with torpedo bombers in cockpit view.
