As one of the very first DLP projectors to feature 4K pixel density, the Optoma UHD60 is a big, bulky projector that comes with an equally big picture size. You can also check out the
The UHD60's picture was truly breathtaking! On a 120" Screen from 16 feet away, the 3000 Lumens shone with brilliance. Colours were incredible, detail and sharpness was a def step up from regular 1080p BluRay. Blacks were still impressive, though not as deep as I would prefer.
Better than expected image quality! Like it!
Even though it's a few years old now, the quality you can get out of the Optoma UHD60 for just $1,999 feels little short of miraculous.
Good price for 4K; Sharp; bright pictures; Surprisingly effective HDR mode; Runs quietly
Flimsy top panel; Limited HDR effect; Occasional HDR colour flaw; Slightly high input lag
This is a slightly shorter than usual review of Optoma's UHD60 home entertainment / home theater projector. A factory fresh UHD60 arrived here just two weeks ago, but only a day before a week's vacation.
Extremely sharp pixel shifter – although not true 4K (2716x1528x2; not 3840×2160; Single chip design helps with sharpness; Supports 4K HDR; enhanced color (BT.2020/P3; Multiple HDR settings; Full set of calibration controls; Very good out of the box picture quality; Really good picture quality on...
Black levels: "Respectable" but definitely not "ultra high contrast" black levels; Thus limits PQ when viewing very dark scenes; Makes it a better Home entertainment; than home theater; Although supports BT.2020 color; comes up more than a little short; (that's typical of lamp based projectors,...
I do not have the projector but would love to have this one. In USA the cost is 1999 dollars and we in UK are ripped off to pay £2499
The Optoma UHD60 is a 4K , high dynamic range DLP projector that costs just £2,500. This is startling when you consider that, for the past couple of years, you'd have had to spend north of £5,000 to get true 4K projection.
Incredible value; Extremely detailed and sharp 4K pictures; Surprisingly effective HDR performance
Black levels could be better; Input lag a touch high; HDR impact limited versus best TVs
This projector is amazing! 4K DLP UHD XPR is wow! The 18gbps HDMI 2.0 hdcp 2.2 input handles 4k/60 content great! I played my PC games at 4k/2160p/60fps at 4: 4: 4 8bit and wow! The clarity is incredible!
Easy To Set Up; Easy to use; Great picture quality; Insane Price/Performance Ratio; Reliable Performance; Small Footprint
