Excellent game

Operation Flashpoint is as far as im concerned one of the best action games ever made. Operation Flashpoint Resistance is the second part of the Ofp series and where Operation Flashpoint Cold War Crises lets you play the position of the Americans in Resistance you play the Russians.

A work of art

This game complete with updates is a work of art. Originally about US and Russia Coldwar, it offered quality single, multiplayer and campaign modes. Now there are many available addons and mods which you can download for free from free sites.

Operation Flashpoint obviously draws comparisons to World War II Online, and this is what happens when the tactical shooter goes right. Fervently realistic gameplay, adequate sound, mostly stellar graphics, and expandability galore. A compelling and engaging single player campaign seals the deal.

Excellent follow-up to Operation Flashpoint.

I was planning to purchase this in my country but the price was too steep. I'm so glad that this was offered at a very good price at Amazon. My friends couldn't believe the price I paid for this software - makes them mad.

One of the BEST games I have ever played!!!

The game is great! It does not look much like the original Flashpoint or Arma which is good coz we do not need another clone. It's strog points are: - good graphics (looking even somewhat better than Red River), - good phisics, - great realistic sounds and sound effects (something that Arma series...

Operation Flashpoint

The final chapter on the Cold War was written in the mid-1980's.  Reagan was openly referring to the Soviet Union as an 'evil empire' and beefing up America's armed forces.  On the other side of the fence, Gorbachev was trying to open up his country in an effort to stem its total collapse.  Despite...

Operation Flashpoint Review

Games are becoming more realistic with every release as game developers strive for the ultimate immersive experience. But who really wants to go to war? Apparently, judging from the European sales of Codemaster's war sim Operation Flashpoint, gamers are still looking for that ultimate combat...

Operation Flashpoint

Review by Simon Martin Operation Flashpoint is the latest in a long line of First Person Shooters on the PC, only this time it's one that's based on a real life setting, and involves a lot more than just shooting the enemies.

Flashpoint Explodes Standard War Games

Operation Flashpoint: Cold War Crisis is one of the most realistic war simulations I have ever played. At times this can be both wonderful and frustrating at the same time. You start out in the campaign mode as a single infantry soldier.

Operation Flashpoint Review

It's 1985 and Gorbachev has become leader of the Soviet Union, bringing about the end of communist rule. But while we survived perestroika and the collapse of the eastern bloc more or less intact, Operation Flashpoint offers a "what if" scenario in which a maverick Russian General opposed to...
