Purchased this new receiver the beginning of May. I was already anxiously awaiting for it to make its debut since I was in the market for a new 100 watt unit and thought that I'd have to settle for a home theater-type receiver.

I bought this stereo receiver to replace a surroundsound system that I installed several years ago. I simply dont tend to watch that many movies with 5.1 surround. But I want to the option to watch video through my stereo just in case.

5 ++Stars This Is An Excellent Unit, I love this amp! Has plenty of power for my 2- 6 speaker each Tower Speakers sound is crystal clear and does not distort at hi volume, I also added a 300 watt sub onto it makes a big difference in bass.

Won't play all audio formats on new TVs won't work with Samsung ARC. Absolute waste of money, sound is flat and average at best too.

Was building a bedroom stereo setup that I wanted music to be a focus but also needed to be able to pull av service. This was the only "receiver" option I tried out, other options I tried are integrated amplifiers. I picked it up because it has hdmi switching which just makes life easier.

This unit does everything I was hoping for and with a great sound. Great for streaming and connection of standard kit which also includes an input for a turntable. Very pleased.

This is the second one I purchased, I bought the first for the living room and was so impressed with it I purchased a second to replace an older system in the family room. The service from Appliances On Line is very impressive
