OnePlus 6T 6GB 128GB

The OnePlus 6T gets lots of plus marks for bringing us a whole lot of cool features!

Super-fast sensor

The in-display fingerprint sensor is, according to OnePlus, the fastest in-display reader in the industry with an unlock time of approximately .34 seconds. That's blink of an eye stuff!

An amazing display for the money: The display on the OnePlus 6T rivals those on more expensive phones thanks to an expansive 6.4-inch AMOLED (2340 x 1080) panel and a less obtrusive dewdrop notch. The slimmer camera cut-out is another smart design idea that makes the display feel almost edge-to-edge.

Cameras to smile about

OnePlus has made all sorts of improvements to their cameras including enhanced HDR and portrait modes and new studio lighting modes that recognize faces and simulate studio-quality lighting. The new Night photography feature is also worthy of mention, giving great results in low light.

Inside information

Inside the OnePlus 6T is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset, with 6GB or 8GB of RAM depending on the model, and 128GB or 256GB of internal storage. On the software side of things, the new Smart Boost mode stores app data in memory to improve cold boot times. This means much faster app launch times, with an improvement of up to 25%, depending on the app.

A plus-sized battery

The OnePlus 6T features a big and powerful 3,700mAh battery and fast-charging also makes a return, so you quickly top up your phone when the battery finally starts to run a little low.

The OnePlus 6T is what we've come to expect from OnePlus devices. It's beautifully simple and offers market-leading performance, despite its market-beating £499 price-tag.

Simple design; in-display fingerprint scanner; great cameras; improved battery life; the price

It started off as the brand which offered users flagship level hardware and innovative design and software at surprisingly affordable prices. But subsequent years have seen OnePlus slowly but steadily step away from budget seas and start dipping its toes into premium lakes.

For all the new features of the OnePlus 6T, there are some significant losses. Sure, waterdrop notches are now in fashion, and the in-screen fingerprint sensor is great for showing off, but neither of them necessarily represent any improvement over the functionality, usability, or power of the...

OnePlus 6T review: Android's rebel phone goes mainstream-with a punkish purple streak

OnePlus sure knows how to make an entrance. Arriving at the tail end of a jam-packed Android season that included nothing less than the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 , LG V40 ThinQ , Google Pixel 3 , and the Huawei Mate 20 Pro , the OnePlus 6T could have easily been a victim of flagship fatigue.

Undoubtedly, the OnePlus is ruling the charts since its inception in the Indian market. Following the launch of much-celebrated OnePlus 6, the company has launched the mid-cycle refresh of the device called as OnePlus 6T.

There are notable differences in the OnePlus 6T, the new in-display fingerprint scanner, the smaller notch (call it as a dewdrop notch), and a bigger battery while the rest of the things are unchanged and carried from the...
